The ‘fan fest’ at the Museum of London Docklands is expected to attract 1,500 German and international visitors.
It will provide viewing areas where visitors can watch the Games, alongside German food and drink and live music every night.
In the evening it will become a party venue until 1am, and there will be a £10 entry fee after 5pm.
The house is open from 26 July to 12 August. It will host German athletes, the team’s daily press conferences and have a hospitality area. It will also be open for the Paralympics from 30 August to 8 September.
Thomas Bach, president of the German Olympic Sports Confederation, said: "The Museum of London Docklands is a unique location that promises great cultural pleasure during the Olympic Games. I am looking forward to welcoming our guests to this historical building."
