Expect palm trees, grass skirts and warrior dances at South Pacific House as the tourist boards of Fiji, Vanuatu, Samoa and Papua New Guinea transform a large pontoon moored in the docks into a tropical South Pacific island.

The house will be open from 26 July to 13 August.

Throughout the games visitors to the docks will be able to get a taste of the cultural heritage of the South Pacific. A range of traditional dance and song will be showcased on the pontoon, as well as traditional crafts and skills demonstrations.

Ambassadors in national costume from Fiji will also be on hand to bring the South Pacific to life.
