Game of the Week: Time Fcuk

LONDON - Nothing to do with the high street fashion retailer, Time Fcuk adds a new perspective to the traditional puzzle game, proving that the most compelling games are not always the flashiest. Revolution's gaming expert and Kerb managing director Jim McNiven sets out the case.

It's been quite a week here at Kerb Towers so this week's game is an appropriate one that will mess with your head  and potentially 'mess with your concept of what's real', although the chances are when anything describes itself like that it probably won't.

This week's game is a nice little puzzle platformer that's more than worthy of your last working hour. Time Fcuk is another awesome game from Newgrounds that shows that playability is better than flashy graphics.

There's a story that unfolds as you play but the basic concept is that you have to reach a portal to progress to the next level while jumping over various obstacles/pointy things that make you go squish. The difference here is that you have to switch perspective to complete each level.

Yes its a lot like Shift (covered in previous entries) but the difference is Time Fcuk takes the perspective to the next level where you have to switch layers mid jump in order to make the platform/level.

Probably not to everyone's taste but definitely worth a try!
