ICC status is further boosted by British Airways' introduction of trans-Atlantic flights from nearby London City Airport.
Visit London interim CEO Sally Chatterjee said a further ICC could not be ruled out, but that would not be for the foreseeable future.
ICC Excel London CEO Kevin Murphy said any extra ICC would prove prohibitively expensive in the current financial climate.
"To build an ICC requires at least ten acres of land. The price of it would run to £250m to £350m," he said.
Separately, Murphy told Event that no events would be displaced as a result of the upcoming 2012 Olympics, at which the venue is hosting six disciplines. He also said the venue could be called in by London Olympic organiser LOCOG to help with procurement of suppliers.
