Taking place on 24 June, the event will showcase all the facilities at ICC London Excel and will incorporate an agency forum, press briefing with Mayor of London Boris Johnson and lunch in the ICC Capital Suite, culminating with an event in the ICC Auditorium.
Approximately 400 guests, including clients, stakeholders and the media, are expected to attend.
"The opening of London's first International Convention Centre is an important milestone in the city's business tourism history and we wanted to mark it with an event that underpins its significance;" said Excel London managing director David Pegler.
"It's fantastic to have an experienced brand like GPJ involved in the launch, especially given the high calibre of events they have produced in the past. We've worked with them at Excel London for many years and the event will give the city a chance to shout about London's credentials in a creative and inspiring way."
ICC London Excel will open for events in May. Facilities will include one of Europe's largest auditoriums, the UK's largest banqueting hall, a new conference suite, access to 90,000sqm of hall space, in addition to new catering and retail facilities.
