EuroDirect debuts consumer offering with loan comparison site

LONDON – Database marketing firm EuroDirect is launching a below-the-line campaign to promote its first consumer offering, the MyCreditZoo website, which offers the opportunity to find the best credit card or loan and apply instantly.

EuroDirect has developed the site to match consumers to the lenders most likely to offer them a loan.

The data company is sending out 500,000 emails every week to promote the website, using two creatives to test which works the best.

The website will provide details about each credit card or personal loan and offer consumers the option of buying their full credit card report online from the group's sister company CallCredit.

Kevin Green, business development director at EuroDirect, said that many people find that their application for a loan is rejected.

"Our wealth of consumer data ensures we are well placed to be able to target the mass market. We will be using our forensic analytics skills alongside the data exchange to develop a strong targeting strategy which we anticipate will maintain good levels of volume traffic to the site," Green said.

The list of personal lenders affiliated with MyCreditZoo.co.uk includes Cahoot, Capital One, Citi Cards, Direct Line, Egg, Freedom Finance, HFC, Lloyds TSB, Morgan Stanley, Norwich Union, Sainsbury's and Virgin.
