CSI finale outshone by BBC One's Waking the Dead repeat

LONDON - 'Waking the Dead' pulled in 3.4m viewers for BBC One last night, beating the season finale of Five's 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation', according to unofficial overnight figures.

The repeat of 'Waking the Dead' took a 15.9% share of the 9pm-10pm audience, while 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' pulled in 2.8m viewers and a 13% share of the audience.

ITV1's reality show 'Ladette to Lady', which is transforming a group of boisterous Australian women into well-mannered ladies, earned third place at 9pm-10pm with 2.7m viewers or a 12.9% share of the audience.

BBC Two brought in 1.9m viewers during the same time slot with 'Mary Portas: Save our Shops'. The documentary achieved a 9% audience share.

Channel 4 managed 1.5m viewers (7%) with 'I'm Running Sainsbury's'. Another 131,000 watched the documentary on Channel 4+1.
