The new division is being lead by John Grain, who has more than 15 years of experience, including 10 years of donor relationship marketing at Oxfam.
Prior to joining the agency, Grain worked closely with Cascaid over the last 12 months as an associate consultant, during which time he played a role in developing new donor care thinking.
He takes on the role of Cascaid's director of supporter services and joins the board of Cascaid marketing. He is already working with a raft of new clients including Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, NCH the children's charity, and Women's Royal Voluntary Service among others.
Alan Clayton, founder and managing director of the Cascaid Group, said: "Gone are the days when charities could get away with throwing budgets at cold recruitment year after year. In such a competitive market, people are at last recognising the need to protect their investments, to retain, develop and build the value of the donors they have already connected with."
He added: "We intend to help our clients do just that as we bring into play highly sophisticated services that will lead the field in lifetime value marketing."
