The agency, which is the digital arm of Carat UK, said it would be using Alterian's marketing technology across email marketing, analytics and CRM delivery work in order to improve efficiency in campaigns and drive sales.
Alterian said the software would allow Carat Digital to support marketing programmes and drive customer growth across its client campaign work by using integrated database marketing packages that provide analysis, segmentation and modelling in a single application.
Julie Jeancolas, head of operations at Carat Digital, said: "We want to help our clients improve the efficiency of their campaigns through repeat contact and robust cross channel evaluation.
"Our ultimate aim is to drive the incremental sales and maximise lifetime value. We need a technology platform which allows us to visualise and analyse data and draw a complete view of each customer or prospect over time."
