Response One promotes Ling to lead Data Intelligence

LONDON - Direct marketing agency Response One has promoted Amanda Ling to the role of associate director of its Data Intelligence division.

Ling, the former head of the marketing and communications division at Response One, will now oversee management of the agency's data planning, consultancy, insight, database management and data processing and production.

The team she oversees has been expanded with the hiring of Graham Nisbet, who has been appointed head of consultancy, and Ian Ruffle, who takes on the role of senior consultant.

Nisbet joins from Lloyds Bank and also has experience from Alterian, while Ruffle was formerly a data analysis specialist at Occam.

They will be tasked with advising key clients on data strategy alongside Anna Foster, who has been promoted to the newly created role of head of data planning.

Patrick Sargeant, managing director of Response One, said: "This marks an exciting period of major investment at R1.

"Demand for the intelligent use of data amongst our client base is at an all-time high and the combined experience of our new-look team will really add weight to the data solutions we offer."
