
Burgess will take up the managing director role - as revealed by Media Week earlier this week - from 1 December. He joins from Unique Digital where he was managing partner, and replaces Ben Wood who left the business in May to become managing director of Aegis digital specialist Diffiniti.
Burgess will be responsible for setting and achieving ambitious growth plans by pushing TradeDoubler's integrated digital marketing portfolio, spanning affiliate, search, display, lead generation and cross-media insights.
He will also assume board level responsibilities as regional director for the UK and Ireland, overseeing the business operations of TradeDoubler UK, TradeDoubler Ireland and The Search Works. At this level, he joins TradeDoubler's three other regional directors for Southern Europe, Central Europe and North East Europe.
Dominic Trigg, TradeDoubler's global vice-president of sales and marketing, said Burgess was an "outstanding candidate" and his experience and commercial credentials would be "the driving force behind the continued success of the UK business".
