The airline company aims to boost its internet presence and sales in the travel market through TradeDoubler's affiliate network.

Working with TradeDoubler, Singapore Airlines intends to develop a more sophisticated online strategy to target consumers and maintain brand awareness in a cost effective way. It will also now move towards partnering with key publisher sites, in order to use affiliates to try to attract more traffic.

Ben Wood, UK managing director at TradeDoubler, said: "As the travel industry continues to experience an increase in online traffic, it is imperative that advertisers recognise the benefits of having a strong affiliate programme in place."

The airline has increase its online sales via its e-commerce channel - Singaporeair.com - over the past year due to enhancements in its product and service offering - including online seat reservations and stopover holiday packages.
