Brand & Deliver wins two-year contract with Three

Creative marketing agency Brand & Deliver has inked a two-year events contract with mobile network Three.

The contract was won following a ‘hotly contested pitch’ against two other agencies.

The company will provide content and production services at Three’s large-scale events. The deal will also see Brand & Deliver restructuring the network’s events division.

Three first approached the agency in May last year, with a brief to drive in-store footfall and promote the Samsung Galaxy S4. Ben Gallop, co-founder of Brand & Deliver, told Event: "We wanted to extend Three’s mad and memorable advertising campaigns, such as the dancing horse and singing cat, into company events.

"We asked the question: ‘what’s the internet really for?’ and came across the global cup-stacking competition in LA. So we imported a load of cheap cup-stacking units and launched the cup-stacking challenge in stores. It started as an internal competition before we introduced it to the consumer. We were invited to the pitch process for the contract shortly afterwards."

He added: "Three is a truly innovative company and we align with their ethos perfectly. Brands must work ever harder not only to engage consumers but also their own people, communicating their values with the same dedication and creativity."

Rebecca Griffith, retail marketing manager at Three, said:  "Throughout the pitch process with Brand & Deliver we got a really good feeling about them.

"They are like-minded in the way they work, creative and agile in their ability to get things done, which is a key in delivering events with a wow factor and within budget. We are all very excited about working with them."

Three joins Brand & Deliver’s portfolio alongside similar communications and technology companies such as Samsung, Sony Pictures and online TV station Netflix.
