
The app has become the most successful free branded advertising game ever to hit the ITunes store.
Created by Dare and Fishlabs, Barclaycard's Waterslide Extreme iPhone game supports the waterslide TV campaign for Barclaycard's contactless card. The public were also challenged to campaign for their own version of the waterslide ad, leading to more than 1.5m views on a bespoke YouTube channel.
The game was launched last month to coincide with a burst of the TV ad running throughout the summer.
