Recruits will be split over Barclaycard's London offices in Canary Wharf and its Northampton base.

‘We are looking for people who can play a part in driving Barclaycard forward and deliver our product and platform innovation agenda, whether that is contactless payments, our exciting new customer loyalty programme, or other category leading activities that we will announce in the future,' said Barclaycard UK marketing director, Katherine Whitton.

Barclaycard has also recently launched an online account management system, mybarclaycard.co.uk, in conjunction with EMC Consulting.
