Dubbed AQA2U, the micro-publishing service is designed for anyone wanting to share information with friends, colleagues, fans or customers.
To sign up as a publisher, users . Once registration has been approved, publishers must then inform their subscribers to text the topic name to 63336 at a cost of 98p to each subscriber.
Users then input content via the website or from their mobile phone. AQA will text subscribers at a cost of 25p per-text (with a maximum monthly charge of £3.50 per month).
AQA receives 12p for every text sent to subscribers -- however, 7p-9p of that goes to each publisher while charities that sign up to the service will receive the full 12p.
Charities including the Samaritans, WellChild and Straight Talking are already onboard for the launch of AQA2U.
The more subscribers that publishers manage to attract, the greater the financial returns. For example, someone with 25 subscribers can make over £275 per year, while someone with 250 subscribers could earn nearly £3,000.
To demonstrate how the service works, AQA has set up a number of its own topics that people can subscribe to, including lottery and football results.
Colly Myers, AQA's chief executive, said: "AQA2U is micro-blogging with a business model.
"It puts texts, alerts, updates and offers from anyone who's got something to say, into the hands of followers who are passionate enough to part with a few pounds per month to keep in touch.
"We already know people will pay for this, as we get thousands of repetitive texts to AQA 63336 asking the same questions every month."
The service has been trialled by show-business photographer Dave Hogan and musician Tinchy Stryder, who are both using the service to let their fans know what they are up to.
