LONDON - Soft drinks brand Appletiser has launched a six-month digital campaign promoting itself as a lifestyle brand.

Using online publisher network Glam Media, the Coca-cola-owned brand is running a campaign alongside editorial and blog content around fashion, beauty, shopping and good food and drink.

Appletiser will run the campaign alongside 200 created and curated editorial features on relevant sites on the Glam network over the next six months, as well as building a hub to host the Appletiser Blog Awards.

The campaign will be promoted using an ad unit which includes four tabs of content specifically tailored to Appletiser including articles, videos, pictures, product galleries, competitions, links to registration pages and links to the Appletiser website.

Appletiser will sponsor the Blog Awards, which will select a winning blog every week in each of five categories, supported editorially throughout the Glam network, with Appletiser advertising integrated into relevant features. Blogs hoping to win an award will need to show excellence in quality of writing, research and popularity. Winners will be awarded a ‘winner's logo' to display site on site.

Alan Wells, Digital Account Manager at Vizeum, said: ‘Essentially we are taking the best Glam editorial and user generated content and linking it to the Appletiser "Enjoy Irresponsibly" creative themes to create an enjoyable journey for users, rather than a traditional one-dimensional microsite destination.'
