The site's food and drink channel has 45 sites in its network and reaches more than 700,000 consumers with an interest in food UK each month.

MyDish.co.uk was set up by entrepreneur Carol Savage, after she secured financial backing for the website from Deborah Meaden when she appeared on BBC2's Dragons' Den earlier this year.

The web site is described as ‘the Facebook for food lovers'. It enables users to invite friends to view and access their favourite recipes, organise their recipes into one place as well as creating their own family cookbook and calendar.

The Glam Food channel gives FMCG and food brands access to an engaged audience of food enthusiasts. This year Maltesers, Hellmans, Philadelphia, Diet Coke and Special K have all advertised through the site.

Other sites that feature on the food channel include Cook It Simply, Gourmandia, ifood.tv, Health Castle and 101 Cookbooks.
