The awards, which are in their seventh year, include new categories for best mobile site, best research and insights project and two awards for best online ad sales team of the year (business and consumer).
Last year the AOP attracted a 40% increase in entries over the previous year from online publishers, ranging from the biggest consumer brands to specialist business titles.
Entries can be submitted and the winners will be announced on October 1 at an awards gala dinner at the London Hilton.

Winners at the 2007 AOP awards included: for consumer online publisher of the year; , published by Trinity Mirror, for best consumer website; and Reed Business Information for online publisher (business).
