Wunderman appoints Wood as head of digital strategy

LONDON - Wunderman's London office has appointed Magnus Wood, the former strategy and planning director at RMG Connect, as its head of digital strategy.

Wood will work alongside David Reed, head of agency planning, and Julian Ormerod, head of digital in the UK. Wunderman said Wood's initial focus would be on the Land Rover, Orange, Samsung and Ford accounts.

Prior to joining Wunderman, Wood was at RMG Connect for a year, where he worked on accounts for HSBC, Shell and Weight Watchers.

He also co-founded an agency called Passion with Philip Slade and Kevin Doherty, and has had stints at AKQA and MRM Partners, as well as being a former marketing director at Deckchair.com -- the online travel business set up by Sir Bob Geldof.

Ormerod said: "Magnus is known to invest time in building relationships with all disciplines and delivering good insights that inspire them to produce great work.

"He has a track record in adding value to clients' digital strategies that push them in new directions."
