LONDON - Wembley Stadium will take on a presenting partner for the first time in its history under a new sponsorship structure at the Football Association (FA) to be unveiled next month.

Wembley Stadium to secure first 'presenting partner'

The FA has confirmed it will negotiate a presenting partner deal, but stressed it would not consider a naming rights deal for the home of English football.

The FA's existing sponsorship structure, which will be replaced in 2010, has partners for three properties - the England football team, the FA and grassroots football. The new structure will now include a fourth property, Wembley Stadium.

The FA is currently in negotiations with its existing partners, including national team sponsor Nationwide.

Wembley has three founding partners - Microsoft, Carlsberg and Umbro, as well as suppliers such as Walkers, Coca-Cola and Nestle.
