Between 23 June and 6 July the destination will erect a 30 metre-wide screen, provided by Saracens Rugby Club, at its Wembley Park Events Pad & Play Park area, located between the London Designer Outlet and Wembley Stadium. Visitors will be able to watch the tennis action unfold for free sitting on summer deckchairs, supplied by Anywhere Deckchairs, and from picnic areas.
Other activity taking place at Wembley Park during the sporting occasion will include a fully furbished Wimbledon-themed cocktail bar operated by dim sum restaurant Ping Pong, which will be serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks including lychee roses martinis and strawberry coolers.
Strawberries and cream will be served to guests throughout the event, and street food offers and a new playpark for those with children will also be available.
The event is being organised and delivered in-house by Wembley Park.
Gary Bell, commercial manager at Wembley Park, said: "We’re thrilled to be bringing a big screen to Wembley Park this year, giving local residents a free way to enjoy all the thrills and spills of Wimbledon.
"With a range of hot and cold food, a wide array of drinks and treats on offer, and the recently opened London Designer Outlet Play Park nearby, there’s something for all the family to enjoy during this exciting fortnight of British sport."
