The IPC title has invited American artist Jeff Koons, French fashion designer Hedi Slimane and German designer Dieter Rams to each produce their own cover and 20 editorial pages.
Koons’ issue features artwork inspired by prog-rock band Led Zeppelin and an interview with Stella McCartney discussing the nature of fame and becoming a brand. The Slimane-edited issue includes a set of 20 60cm x 40cm posters using his photography and typography and an interview with German artist Thomas Demand, who discusses his painful split with fashion brand Dior.
Rams’ version of Wallpaper* features the 10 commandments of good design, which has been illustrated using a 16-page photo shoot art-directed by Rams, and an interview with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa.
