Wallpaper and Nokia launch mobile content

Trendy IPC lifestyle title Wallpaper has teamed up with mobile phone giant Nokia to launch a new service offering readers and users the opportunity to view content from the magazine.

The deal coincides with the launch of Nokia鈥檚 鈥渇ashion collection鈥 of mobile phones 鈥 7260, 7270 and 7280 models 鈥 in major markets around the globe.

Users will be able to access the Wallpaper To Go content direct from the magazine鈥檚 website from their handsets, including wallpapers and screen savers.

Heikki Norta, senior vice president of marketing at Nokia, said: 鈥淭he Nokia 鈥 Wallpaper cooperation is an ideal marriage.

鈥淣okia brings our experience and expertise in mobility, while Wallpaper adds its unique perspective on the world of design, interiors, fashion and travel.

鈥淲e believe Wallpaper To Go鈥 will appeal to style-conscious Nokia mobile phone owners who like to keep an eye on the catwalks of London and Paris, the furniture shows in Milan, or ideas for that once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Seychelles.鈥

The UK edition of Wallpaper magazine currently has sales of around 107,000, according to the latest figures for July to December 2004 from the Audit Bureau of Circulations.
