Titan Publishing has initially created four comics, on sale at Apple's App Store for 59p each.
One comic, 'The W Files', features Wallace and Gromit investigating unusual shapes and flashing lights seen in the night sky. In another, 'Parts and Labour', we discover where Wallace sources the parts for his inventions. The comics each come with bonus features.
Wallace & Gromit digital comic editor Ned Hartley said: "It's really exciting to see Wallace and Gromit at the forefront of such a cracking new technology.
"Although I secretly suspect that Wallace would be more comfortable with the type of apple that comes with cheese."
