Wall Street Journal US election news available on Yahoo!

LONDON - The Wall Street Journal Online has signed a deal with Yahoo! to provide its latest news on the US presidential election race to the portal's users in the UK and Ireland.

Content from 's political blogs, 'Political Perceptions' and 'Washington Wire' will be available on a specially created to carry news and updates of the US election.

The 'Political Perceptions' blog provides political analysis, including a daily summary of the best US political commentary on the web, and exclusive daily columns written by Jerry Seib.

Seib is executive Washington editor for the WSJ and a veteran campaign watcher having covered every US presidential election since 1980 when Ronald Reagan was elected.

WSJ.com's 'Washington Wire' blog provides a daily update of news and analysis written by reporters on the ground at the journal's Washington DC bureau. 

Tristan Leaver, director of business and audience development at the Wall Street Journal digital network for EMEA, said: "This deal will give Yahoo! UK users access to the journal's award-winning journalism in what is turning out to be one of the most exciting US Presidential election race in years. 

"It's also a very effective way for WSJ.com to raise brand awareness and expose our unparalleled content to a new UK audience."
