
BlackBerry owners can access the package through a downloadable application, which will give them access to continually updated and comprehensive business coverage from around the world, as well as opinion pieces.
Users can also customise the service to receive headline lists based on their chosen criteria, and "push-based" alerts for current information on selected publicly quoted companies.
The service is available after The Wall Street Journal Online signed a deal with Outercurve Technologies, which creates technology for handheld devices.
Derek Roga, Outercurve's president and CEO, said: "This agreement to deliver Journal content via BlackBerry is a major step in our goal to provide mobile professionals with the vital information they need to succeed, no matter where they may be."
The Wall Street Journal Online recently launched a mobile edition, The Wall Street Journal Mobile, which provides business and financial news from the Online Journal directly to mobile phones.
