The event (6-13 August), which takes place on the Isle of Wight, will see consumers given the opportunity to ‘learn to sail’ with members of the British Sailing Team.
The simulator utilises a fully rigged RS Tera dinghy, which then simulates the life-like motion of a boat. Members of the British Sailing Team will be there to provide expert tips on how to sail or hone skills.
There will also be a remote control Volvo car racetrack that will be purpose built for the event on the Volvo stand.
The track will be modelled on a Scandinavian landscape with the remote control Volvo cars to race each other to see who can set the best time.
On the Parade at the event Volvo will host a cut out headboard for photo opportunities.
Volvo will also run a kids treasure hunt following the success of the event in 2015. Children and families will be encouraged to take part in the treasure hunt and find the clues located throughout the Volvo stand.
