The General Motors-owned marque has created a microsite, Astra-and-action.co.uk, in the style of movie promotional websites. The site, by digital agency MRM Worldwide, will be supported by an email marketing campaign targeting 250,000 previous Vauxhall owners.
GM Europe is yet to appoint an ad agency to launch the new Astra model across Europe. The pitch - involving DLKW, Lowe and McCann Erickson - kicked off in November but a decision has yet to be made.
