A modern classic is to be broadcast in its original version at 9pm on the first Wednesday of every month between May and December, except July and August. 'The Uncut Film' will be aired after a short introduction by Uncut publisher Andrew Sumner.
In return, the IPC Media movie and music magazine will carry TCM-branded editorial pages in seven issues of the magazine.
As well as the John Wayne and Dean Martin-starring 'Rio Bravo' and 'Blood Simple', the films featured include 'All the President's Men', 'Cool Hand Luke', 'The Outlaw Josey Wales' and 'Scarface'.
Alan Musa, vice-president and channel manager of TCM, said: "TCM's primetime movie slot has been attracting a wider audience as we've introduced more modern and up-to-date classic films into the schedule. The deal helps us to consolidate Uncut's young male audience and grow it even further."
TCM, which like Uncut is owned ultimatedly owned by Time Warner, is available on Sky, Top Up TV, NTL and Telewest Broadband and reaches more than 9.6m UK households.
Uncut has a circulation of 114,034, up 1.1% period-on-period according to the last round of ABCs.
Past sponsors of TCM movies include The Times for this year's Oscar season, and IPC's TV Times for last year's Oscar season.
