UM loses Telegraph search account to Propellernet

LONDON - Independent search agency Propellernet has picked up the Telegraph's search account, after the media group chose to move the account from full service agency Universal McCann.

UM loses Telegraph search account to Propellernet

Telegraph Media Group asked Propellernet and incumbent Universal McCann to pitch for the account after the departure of marketing director Katie Vanneck, as revealed in Media Week (17 July 2007).
The awarding of the account to Propellernet is a blow for Universal McCann, which previously held the Telegraph’s entire media account. Propellernet also works on the search account for comparison site uswitch.com.
