TWI, whose roster of clients include the International Olympic Committee, Wimbledon and the Nobel Institute, is the television, broadcast and new-media arm of IMG, the leading sports marketing agency.
Endeavour is one of the largest Hollywood talent agencies representing 'Bourne Supremacy' actor Matt Damon, 'Happy Gilmore' star Adam Sandler and 'Aviator' director Martin Scorsese among others.
By uniting the two companies under the Transend banner, the two hope new worldwide audiences for properties, clients and contacts will be created.
Bill Sinrich, chief executive of TWI, said: "Transend will work with the talent agency's prestigous clients and use TWI's unrivalled global distribution network to seek new opportunities in places where others haven't looked or they lacked the expertise to make it happen."
One of the first projects the new company will be working on is 'Shaquille', a behind-the-scenes look at the basketball player turned rap star Shaquille O'Neal, and 'Vegas Law', a reality series about a flamboyant defence attorney.
Ian Moffitt, former head of programming at Target Entertainment, has been appointed as head of Transend. He was previously a senior executive at Tiger Aspect, the independent production company and ITV's Carlton International.
"It is a fantastic opportunity to introduce hot properties and clients to new audiences and buyers," Moffitt said.
Moffitt will be based in Los Angeles and will negotiate deals with producers on both sides of the Atlantic.
