The relaunched will still retain all the usual features including official club news, but will now include interviews with current and former players, interviews with celebrity fans, such as Noel and Liam Gallagher, behind-the-scenes interviews with City staff and a new "what the papers say" section.
Bradley Howard, TWI interactive's client services manager, said City fans were consulted before the revamp to get the best possible site for them.
"TWI and Manchester City have worked closely with the club supporters to produce a site that meets the fans' requirements and the club's commercial objectives all in a fresh, organised and well-designed site," Howard said.
In addition, TWI has been appointed to host and design the site for the next five years as part of the club's key marketing strategy to build the profile of MCFC as a global brand.
TWI, the broadcasting arm of IMG, operates websites for more than 60 sporting organisations including Manchester United, Wimbledon and Tiger Woods.
