Turkey of the week: TouchNote's Christmas ad manages to both confuse and annoy

Omar Oakes was left bemused and confused by this brand's in-house creation.

Behold a dark, dystopian future in which our society’s petty cynicism has become so acute that suburban tossers have fun at Christmas by giving each other the most annoying gifts imaginable. Even if one is to forgive this ad’s inept voiceover, jarring POV shots and aggressively distracting soundtrack, I still had to Google the brand name after several viewings to find out what the actual product is.

Brand: TouchNote
Title: The revenge present
Agency: in-house
Client: Jesse Boyce, creative director, TouchNote
