Two new appointments at the vintage venue include Will Fincher as duty manager and Joe Mangara as wedding and events manager.
Fincher joined the team having previously worked as venue manager and visitor operations manager for other London venues including Camden's Roundhouse. He will manage front of house teams and will work alongside Troxy’s clients.
Mangara came from a restaurant and banqueting background and will be the first full time member of staff responsible for bespoke wedding arrangements at the venue.
Troxy’s new wedding service is designed to gives couples one point of contact for the location, theme, catering and event management of their day. Ceremonies in the art deco Grand Hall can seat up to 1,000 people.
Atif Malik, events manager at Troxy credits the Olympics with the popularity of the venue, which celebrates its 80th birthday this year.
"Through the appointment of Will and Joe we are investing in key areas of expertise and building a platform for the future," he said.
"It has been an exciting year for London’s east end as the Olympics has seen a shift in event bookings, with more graduating this way particularly in the live music arena.
"The Olympics has proven that places like Limehouse are not as far away as people think."
