Tri-Direct wins Johnsons sales and insert work

LONDON – Dry cleaning firm Johnsons has hired Tri–Direct Sales as its exclusive third-party sales manager, following a five-way pitch.

As part of the deal Tri-Direct Sales' priority will be to boost revenues in list sales and develop an insert-carrying programme as well as point-of-sale material.

The carrying programme features a "hanger bag" containing third-party material that is collected by customers with their cleaning.

Steve Reid, Tri-Direct Sales managing director, said: "I'm thrilled at the prospect of delivering our ideas into additional income streams that Johnsons were unaware existed, as well as improving on current third-party activity."

Basingstoke-based Tri-Direct Sales is the insert distribution, consumer database and new-media arm of the Tri-Direct Group.
