TBWA UK has appointed the comedy writer and former adman Peter Souter as its chairman and chief creative officer, as its group president, Robert Harwood-Matthews, moves to TBWA\Chiat\Day in New York. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

Mike Hoban, Confused.com's chief marketing officer, is leaving the price comparison website to pursue "other interests". ()

Jeremy Davies, marketing director at E.ON, is to leave the energy company to take up a position with the Commercial Bank of Qatar. Davies, who joined E.ON from high-street lender Abbey in 2008, will be replaced by sales director Anthony Ainsworth, who will take on the combined role of sales and marketing director. ()

Brian Bloomer, Research in Motion's media strategy director for EMEA, is joining Vodafone as its group media planning manager. ()

Honda has appointed internal candidate Satoshi Suzuki to a senior European marketing role, after previous incumbent Tom Gardner was promoted to head up Honda Portugal. ()

Gill Hesketh, marketing and commercial director of Clipper Teas, has been promoted to the role of marketing director of parent group Wessanen UK. ()

Maxus has promoted Lindsay Pattison, its UK chief executive, to the new post of global chief strategy officer. Pattison, who starts her new role immediately, has been the chief executive of Maxus in the UK since 2009 and will retain these duties while taking on global responsibilities. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

A&N Media, publisher of the Daily Mail, has appointed former Marks & Spencer (M&S) top executive Susan Aubrey-Cound to the new role of chief executive of ecommerce. ()
