Penny Herriman, the former chief executive of WCRS, is joining Isobar UK as its chief executive. Herriman will be responsible for overseeing Glue Isobar, Isobar Mobile and Isobar Social, and is charged with building on the company’s model of integrated business, with digital at its heart. OgilvyOne London has appointed Kohlben Vodden, a senior strategic account director at Wunderman, as its head of social media and content. Vodden will be responsible for developing creative and measurable social media and content solutions for OgilvyOne's clients. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10) 

Bloom, the networking, mentoring and fundraising club for women in the communications industry, has appointed Karmarama's Hannah Matthews as president. Matthews, group marketing director at Karmarama, will be joined by Jo Thompson, an account director at Drum, as vice-president. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10) 

David & Goliath London has appointed Katie Treggiden as its first client services and new business director. Treggiden will join the management team of Rob Porteous and Dave Askwith, who are also creative directors. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10) 

Green Cave People, the agency start-up launched last month by Malcolm Green and Marc Cave, has hired Baby Creative's co-founder Laurence Sassoon as its managing director. The agency has also hired former DLKW Lowe creative director Keith Terry as head of visual craft. Prior to DLKW, Terry worked at Saatchi & Saatchi as art director. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10) 

VCCP has recruited Wieden & Kennedy's Mark McCall and Richard Dorey, the team behind the "dot" campaign for Nokia, as senior creatives. The pair join the agency this week and will report to Darren Bailes, the executive creative director of VCCP. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10) 

Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO has hired Andy Clough and Richard McGrann as part of a strategy to bolster its creative department. The pair join as creative directors from Bartle Bogle Hegarty. Award-winning work created by the team includes the "Imagination" spot for Audi and the Lynx "Get in there" activity. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10) 

Saatchi & Saatchi Fallon Group has hired the former BBC Radio 1 controller Andy Parfitt to the position of director of talent across EMEA. Parfitt will work alongside the region's senior management teams to help "nurture, shape and attract" the best talent. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

TNT Post sales and marketing director Marc Caulfield had left the company to pursue other opportunities. Caulfield joined the company in 2010, having previously run his own consultancy. 

The Government is reorganising its communications functions and has appointed Jenny Grey as acting executive director of government communications, and placed the 400 remaining COI staff in a consultation period. The appointment of Grey, who keeps her current role as director of policy and communications for the Cabinet Office, is with immediate effect and is intended to manage the transition to a post-COI world in about March next year. ()

Rob Atkinson, the chief operating officer of Clear Channel UK, has been appointed interim chief executive of Clear Channel's Adshel joint venture in Australia and New Zealand. Following the departure of Adshel chief executive Steve McCarthy, Atkinson will join Adshel on secondment from 1 November, until a permanent chief executive has been appointed.  

Google has appointed its senior European marketer Dan Cobley as its new UK managing director, replacing Matt Brittin who has been promoted to a senior European role. The reshuffle of senior Google executives has been prompted by the promotion of Philipp Schindler, Google’s current vice-president of Google Europe, who has moved to a global role based in Google’s headquarters in California.

Turner Media Innovations, Turner Broadcasting's ad sales arm, has promoted online sales manager Rachel Lewis to digital commercial director, EMEA, following the departure of Colleen Kearney. As digital commercial director, Lewis will be charged with leading the digital commercial strategy for Turner Broadcasting’s online properties.
