The agreement means that JumpTV, which specialises in broadcasting international TV and sports online, will provide Tiscali UK users with access to a host of channels from around the world, including Al Jazeera, Pakistan's Hum TV, Turkey's Euro D and Jamaica's CVM.
The individual channels will be accessible via the Tiscali UK to subscribers on a monthly basis, with revenue to be shared equally between JumpTV and Tiscali.
JumpTV, which distributes broadcast packages online to more than 70 countries worldwide, said Tiscali users would be able to subscribe to nearly 300 individuals channels across its network.
JumpTV said the UK had a proven market for international TV stations from Asia, Africa and the Middle East, and that Tiscali's broadband penetration rate would help make it its largest market outside North America.
Mike John Baptiste, head of global distribution at JumpTV, said: "Two-thirds of the UK's population increase between 2001 and 2004 was due to immigration. As the population continues to change, we strive to provide our partners with the best content for their audience."
