The Hot Shots promotion, developed by SP Partnerships, runs for seven weeks from now in Thomson and PC World stores nationwide, as well as online.
The nationwide instore campaign at PC World is being supported throughout all 150 stores with customers being offered a Thomson money-off voucher when spending 拢50 or more at any time through the promotional period.
Thomson is running a simultaneous instore campaign in all of its 775 UK stores, with customers offered an A4 leaflet that includes a digital camera offer when they make a holiday booking.
Thomson will also be sending two fortnightly email newsletters to 500,000 customers making them aware of the promotion. Both companies will be running a PR campaign targeting national press.
The joint venture has been developed to give the groups the opportunity of sharing a similar customer base and increasing sales and brand awareness.
Steve Woodward, brand manager at PC World, said: "This is an innovative joint promotion that has the potential for both parties to maximise awareness of their respective seasonal offerings, to target customers leading up to the summer holiday season."
