
The product, which is being trialled in 75 Tesco stores, is available in Pure, Vanilla, and Strawberry variants.
It is being distributed in resealable pouches of 20 bags, and can be drunk with or without milk. Tetley claimed that its consumer research has strongly indicated that T4KIDZ will prove popular both with parents and children.
Tetley's marketing manager for T4KIDZ, Anand Gandesha, said: 'We're a nation of tea drinkers, so it makes sense to have a version of our favourite beverage for children.'
Separately, Tetley plans to revive its well-known animated brand characters, the Tea Folk, in a TV advertising campaign this month, following a 10-year hiatus.
