The new TaxWorking brand is supported with an above-and-below the line campaign, centred around a new careers , which aims to make working in tax a more appealing option for school leavers, students and graduates.
The integrated brand, website and marketing campaign was created by Neoco Design.
The website allows users to view all major public and private sector employers, and includes a Flash game 'What Kind of Tax Adviser Are You?'.
A UK-wide marketing campaign, including online and traditional advertising, flyers and posters will roll out later this month, targeting schools, universities and career centres.
Creative director Benn Achilleas said it was the first time the tax industry had collaborated on this scale. "The branding, website and support campaign are all designed to make tax a sexier prospect for potential employees," he said.
The enterprise is being backed by financial institutions Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers, among others, and industry bodies such as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Institute of Indirect Taxation and The Chartered Institute of Taxation.
