Tanqueray Tones, to be held on 5 June, will culminate with unique, vintage-style jazz band Top Shelf performing an original song documenting the spirit’s intriguing journey throughout the ages, in their distinct ‘filthy swing’ style.

Gin aficionados will experience the music and taste the key moments in gin’s history, through four indulgent Tanqueray cocktails specially created by Tristan Stephenson, co-owner of Worship Street Whistling Shop in London, Barrie Wilson, Tanqueray global ambassador, Tim Homewood, Tanqueray GB ambassador and Dren Lala, head bartender at the The Lucky Pig.

The one-off event, devised by Devries Slam, will give gin lovers the opportunity to experience gin tasting sessions and immerse themselves in bygone eras with vintage hairstylists, old-school barbers and a shoe shine specialist.

From its early manufacture in Bloomsbury, Tanqueray witnessed the rise of the gin palaces of the 1800s, influenced the world of jazz through to hip hop, and legend has it that the brand was enjoyed by the Rat Pack and post-Prohibition in the White House.
