The brand has released a YouTube video, which compares a Lil-lets tampon with its competitor brand Tampax Compak when dipped into water.

Lil-lets senior brand manager Jackie Roberts said: ‘YouTube is the perfect platform for us to show women how a Lil-lets tampon help prevent leaks. Strict regulations restrict us from showing this on TV.'

The dip-test video is part of a £750,000 marketing campaign. Lil-lets will also distribute over 500,000 samples to 25-45 year old women in city centres throughout the country.
