Synovate shakes up Brazil management

SAO PAULO - Globe research firm Synovate has reshuffled the management at its Latin American operations.

Manuel Lopes, the managing director of Synovate Brazil, has had the duties of director of operations for South America added to his remit; while Jesus Caldeiro, the client services director for Synovate in Spain, will take on the mantle of client services and practices director for Synovate in Brazil.

Lopes's additional duties will include helping Synovate's local business units across South America to improve operational efficiency, grow commercially and boost profitability.

He has over 30 years' experience in market research, spanning Portugal and Brazil, and joined Synovate in 2003.

Caldeiro, who relocates from Spain to Sao Paulo, will become responsible for managing and growing Synovate's key accounts as well as managing business for its global practices - Customer Experience, Brand & Communications and MarketQuest.
