Synovate promotes Galceran to Latin America chief

LONDON - Synovate, the research arm of Aegis Group, has promoted Ignacio Galceran, from executive vice-president for the company's South America operations, to CEO for Latin America.

Galceran, who previously managed Synovate's business in Mexico City, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires, has also worked on developing analytic models for various global brands.

Robert Philpott, Synovate's global chief operating officer, said: "Synovate has achieved spectacular growth in Latin America in the past few years under Ignacio's leadership.

"We see Latin America as a huge opportunity for Synovate and we are determined to continue our expansion in the region, both organically and via acquisitions."
