Stella McCartney wins initial court ruling case against Bono's wife over 'nude' brand

Hewson, who owns cosmetics company Nude Skincare, is suing McCartney for using the word 'nude' in the name of her new perfume.

She is claiming the word ‘nude' and the branding used by McCartney are very similar to her own range of products.

The perfume launch went ahead following the failure of Hewson to secure an emergency interim injunction before the case proceeds to a full trial.
