To follow up claymotion TV ads by Saatchi and Saatchi, Spinning Clock has designed a yellow marquee featuring a ‘kitchen', complete with cartoon-style printed utensils, and a ‘park' with cycling fitness machines.
"The challenge is to ride as far as you can in 45 seconds. Some parents take it more seriously than others," said Spinning Clock MD Don Turner.
"We have also produced a short cartoon to run for the duration of each race, taking the competitors through some hair-raising scenes to keep adrenaline levels high."
The kitchen also features a touchscreen showing an interactive animation, which provides information on healthy alternatives to sugary or fatty snacks.
Other attractions include a photo board with face holes, adorned with the cartoon characters from the TV ads. Participants receive a photo of themselves in exchange for a pledge to make a healthy change in their life.
The first roadshow took place at the Sporting Futures event in Enfield, attended by 5,000 people. Another ten events throughout greater London are planned this summer, including Lambeth Country Show and the London Mela festival.
