
Space has been tasked with designing and building the tour experience, to engage both French and international football fans and generate excitement around the trophy as it travels throughout the host nation.
The tour will kick off on 1 April and visit a total of 25 French cities until 9 June, the day before the tournament begins. Approximately 300,000 visitors are expected to attend the tour events.
The 2016 UEFA European Championship will be held in France from 10 June to 10 July.
David Atkinson, managing partner at Space said the agency won the account following a competitive pitch.
He added: "During the summer every eye in Europe will be on France for Euro 2016. UEFA is keen to ensure that people across France understand the history, excitement and possibilities inherent in one of the world’s biggest sporting events.
"Our role is to define and create the Trophy Tour experience, which will be a really important part of the build-up to Euro 2016."
