Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) enlisted agency to produce the experience, which formed one part of PlayStation’s sponsorship rights package with UEFA.
Approximately 20,000 guests could compete in Foosball and Pro Evolution Soccer tournaments to be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets to the Champions League Final in the German capital. In addition, visitors could win one of two places to the Nissan GT Race Camp in Abu Dhabi.
Konami used the festival as the showpiece event in its annual Virtual UEFA Champions League tournament, crowning a champion on Saturday live from the PlayStation Experience.
The four-day festival also gave the brand’s PS Plus members the chance to experiences Project Morpheus, PlayStation’s new virtual reality offering.
